Since 2009 Eric has been a school counselor at Watertown High School where he served as an advisor to several student organizations and was a member of the school’s NEASC re-accreditation committee. Eric is an active parishioner of St. Joseph Church where he facilitates a ten-week bereavement program, volunteers at the Meals for the Needy Soup Kitchen and assists with the Confirmation II class. He and his wife Sarah reside in Bristol with their year-old son, Noah.
In his application Eric noted: “Catholic schools are a critical intervention in the lives of our children today. They deliver the solid academic background needed to prepare students for the challenges and rigor of high school and college…..Catholic schools distill the spirit of Christ, through faith, hope and love, which will feed and nourish students as they follow the path of life.
“I have been blessed to have experienced first-hand the benefits of a Catholic Education and am even more blessed to have this opportunity to pass along those benefits to the St. Joseph School Community. I will continue the commitment to excellence that St. Joseph has established and will ensure that our students leave for high school academically and spiritually prepared for the next journey in their life. I look forward to meeting and working with all of you in the coming months.” - Eric Frenette
