Friends of St. Joseph School, Rich Theriault and his family, attended the June 4th Home & School meeting to present the Paulette Theriault Scholarship. This year 2 awards of $500 each were presented to current 7th graders Mitch G. and Sean C. The scholarships will be applied to these student's tuition for the 2007-08 year.

First awarded in 2004, The Paulette Theriault Scholarship is awarded annually to current SJS 7th grader who exemplifies leadership and academic qualities. Mrs. Theriault, a 7th grade teacher at St. Joseph School for 18 years, cherished working with middle school students and this award is given by her family in her memory.

The Paulette Theriault Scholarship Dinner Dance has been scheduled for Friday, October 12th at Marinelli’s Dinner Club. Tickets will be $25.00 each and all proceeds will go to fund the scholarship. Look for further details and order forms in the Fall.
